3 Days, 2 Nights Safari from Nairobi to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha, Kenya

Day 1: Nairobi - Lake Nakuru

Our safari driver guide will pick you up from your Nairobi city hotel and drive northwest to Lake Nakuru. Have a short stop at View Point to have a look at Kenya's Great Rift from an elevated position, then proceed to the bottom and onto Lake Nakuru, arriving in time for a pre-lunch game drive. While on this safari you may see Rothschild Giraffes, Waterbucks, lions, leopards and Rhinos among other wildlife before lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge. Afternoon safari game viewing drives may include sighting of Lake Nakuru’s thousands of Flamingos striking down to feed on the Lake’s shores. Return to Lake Nakuru Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Nakuru - Lake Naivasha

Early breakfast is followed by a safari game viewing drive around lake Nakuru , then drive to Kenya’s highest lake at 1880 m above sea level, Lake Naivasha.  Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus with Hippos lazing in the lake and Buffalos grazing on the shores. Bid watching includes Grey-capped Warbler, Spectacled Weaver, Brimstone Canary, Red-billed Fire finch and 350 other species. Lunch at Lake Naivasha Sopa or similar. After at leisure; either exploring the lake further or make a boat trips on the lake or a nature walk on crescent Island where you reach Wildebeest, Zebra and Giraffes from close at an extra cost. Dinner and overnight at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 3: Lake Naivasha - Nairobi

Breakfast will be taken at leisure, check out of Lake Naivasha Sopa safari Lodge and continue with sight seeing and safari game viewing on-route down the slopes of the Great Rift and onto Nairobi where you reach your city hotel before lunch.
